Designers from METAarchitects designed a luxury hallway apartment in the very center of St. Petersburg.

Project Information
Company: METAarchitects
Where is: Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation
Type of property: Apartment
Hallway Area: 16 m²
Console: From Gold Castle

To give this area a wow factor, the designers took advantage of the original architectural details of the St. Petersburg’s historical apartments, by preserving the atmosphere of the original house, firmly inspired by the Parisian style.
As the hallway is the first area of the home where guests are greeted, the designers wanted to create an interior with a powerful look to blow them away. By maintaining its functional purpose, this area establishes what awaits beyond.
The apartment has a contemporary style, which is strongly marked by the classical elements’ use, decorated with vivid furniture and art objects, bringing a sophisticated modern presence into it, responding to the owners’ noble taste.
The grand scale of the hallway is emphasized by the symmetrical layout of gypsum molding on the walls and a big rectangular mirror covering the center, which is framed by a robust marble stone. The high ceiling, in combination with the mirror, gives the entrance hall the impression of larger space, turning it into a comfortable and memorable interior.
The mirror frame’s material goes down to the floor, giving rise to a 16 m² floor in white marble with dark hues and a consistent gold pattern over the space.
The classical mirror frame guides the eye to the elegant combination of dark marble with the brass of the Spiro Console from the Portuguese brand Gold Castle, which creates the impressive focal point of the interior.

The base features a unique spiral design, honouring the Portuguese forging metal techniques, which is elegantly balanced with a clean marble tabletop, where the decorative home accessories give it a more contemplative look.
