Let the season inspire the home colors.

Leaving the capital of France behind, the owner of this private residence and his family will embark on a nostalgic journey, returning to his childhood home, near one of the most iconic buildings in Paris – Versailles Palace. The project has RMGB Studio signature.

Considered the next generation of French interior designers, the RMGB Studio, founded by Baptiste Rischmann and Guillaume Gibert, has seen its projects being featured in the world’s best interior design magazines, from AD Magazine to Elle Decoration.
RMGB’s projects favor the architectural details of each residence with a unique signature where each project has custom-made pieces designed by the studio, responding to the clients’ needs.
Their aesthetic plays meticulously with volume, materials and light, and that is present in one of their most recent projects - a 19th-century townhouse overlooking the Palace of Versailles -, which got the honor to be on the cover of the October issue of Elle Decoration UK.
This historic house needed a meticulous restoration. The centenary features came out by choosing the home’s original form while giving them a new life. The decoration also mirrors the interior designers’ passion for architecture and exquisite craftsmanship design, keeping in mind their bold aesthetic in all details.
Playing a staring role, the architectural details shine throughout the house since the duo chose not to create intrusive build-ins; instead, they opted for custom designs that do not disturb, maintaining a clean look with some bold elements - color, shape and materials.
When it comes to color, it seems that the decor matches the Fall season perfectly: rich hues ranging from browns to yellows and oranges, and even the elegant mixture of beiges and striking blues.
Experimenting with rich colors and materials while layering textures, the French interior designers created a cozy home that welcomes the new season gently.
